Mindfulness mentorship

Offered individually and in small groups, mentorship occurs via hour long zoom sessions to provide the utmost accessibility and consistency. Joshua offers a wide range of mindfulness based strategies and tools for managing the everyday ups and downs that come with growing up. Rooted in a gentle and familiar structure, Joshua invites and attunes to whatever may emerge in the course of a session. As a mindful mentee you will have Joshua in your corner, anchoring you with words of encouragement, while cheering you on to be the best version of yourself that you are capable of becoming.

Wonder Walks

Joshua is a licensed nature connection mentor and his deepest passion is in guiding young people into nature. This in-person experience pairs well with his mindfulness mentorship offering. Joshua has a special relationship with Angeles National Forest and has been guiding sojourns to this local mountain for the last decade. Prepare to journey safely off trail and find your way to a beautiful “sit spot” where mindfulness comes alive in the presence of nature. Let this Wonder Walk serve as metaphor that inspires and encourages you through all of life’s threshold crossings.

Family Fire Circle

Joshua has been apprenticing with fire for the last decade and has been facilitating fire circles for about as long. The presence that is drawn forth around the dance of the flame creates a magical intimacy where authentic feelings can be shared, and shared values can be celebrated in the warmth of this earliest ancient ritual. Create profound connection, forge accountability partnerships, shift relational dynamics, and witness family members for who they are all in the comfort of your own backyard. It takes a healthy family system to nurture an adolescent through maturation. Parents who join in this work affirm the value of it.
